Our Story
Lech Lecha Foundation was established to fill a gap that kept appearing: Jewish organizations doing vital work — but stretched too thin to do it well. And young Jewish women building families — but without the practical education, community, and resources to truly thrive.
We are a registered Canadian charity. Our name — Lech Lecha, Hebrew for "go forth" — reflects a commitment to movement, growth, and purpose. We don't believe in organizations or people just surviving. We believe in them flourishing.
Based in Toronto, our reach is global. We work with Jewish communities wherever they are.

Jewish organizations run on dedication — but dedication alone doesn't pay for operations, build systems, or keep good people. We provide the capacity support that keeps nonprofits healthy and growing.
Young Jewish women building families face unique pressures. We provide practical education, real community, and resources that actually fit their lives — not generic advice, but tools grounded in their world.
