The Lech Lecha Foundation
We exist to do two things: strengthen the Jewish organizations keeping communities alive, and equip young Jewish women to build thriving families.
Why We Exist
Jewish organizations do real work. They teach, they connect, they preserve. But many of them run on goodwill and not enough infrastructure — and eventually, that catches up with them. We exist to change that.
At the same time, young Jewish women raising families are navigating enormous pressures without enough practical support. They need real tools — not inspiration, but knowledge: how to eat well, manage money, protect their mental health, and build community that holds.
The Lech Lecha Foundation works on both of these fronts. Because a strong community is built from strong organizations and strong families — and we won't choose between them.
Our guiding principle
"A strong community is built from strong organizations and strong families — and we won't choose between them."
— Lech Lecha Foundation
Focus 01
Jewish organizations carry communities. We help them carry that weight sustainably — with the resources, structure, and support they need to grow instead of just survive.
We provide the behind-the-scenes resources that keep nonprofits running: administrative capacity, process support, and the organizational infrastructure that lets mission-driven people focus on their mission.
We help organizations build, expand, and deliver meaningful programming. From Jewish education to community events — we support the work that builds connection and belonging.
No organization thrives in isolation. We connect Jewish nonprofits with each other, with resources, and with the broader community — so that growth in one place strengthens all of them.
Focus 02
Young Jewish women building families deserve practical tools, not just inspiration. Our programs are grounded in real life — the challenges, the pressures, and the particular beauty of building a Jewish home.
Practical classes on nutrition, physical health, and daily wellness — built around the realities of family life. Real food, real bodies, real schedules.
Tools for managing stress, building resilience, and caring for mental health through the seasons of motherhood, marriage, and community life. Support that meets women where they are.
Personal finance education, self-improvement frameworks, and practical skills that create stability and growth — for women, for their families, and for their futures.
How We Work
Practical, not theoretical
We build programs around what people actually need, not what sounds good from the outside.
Community-rooted
Everything we do grows from inside the Jewish community — with full respect for its diversity and depth.
Accountable & transparent
Registered and accountable. We report clearly on what we do with the trust that donors and partners place in us.
Built to last
We don't chase quick wins. We support the slow, steady work of building institutions and people that endure.
Partner With Us
We work with Jewish organizations of all sizes and individuals who share our vision. Tell us about your goals — we'll figure out if we can help.
